As a large contemporary family residence the design brief for this project required connectivity between the internal and external spaces. The balance of flexible public and private spaces became a critical aspect of the design. A beautifully scaled internal courtyard highlights the flexibility of the design in accommodating a large family.

The use of external cladding devices allows integrated, comfortable and functional indoor-outdoor living, sheltering the occupants from the natural elements throughout the year. This design is paired with thoughtful and considered design qualities whilst the exterior is finished in rich seasoned timbers and charcoal toned metals to blend the home into the bush landscape.
