This multiple boutique residential development is located within the traditional suburb of Prospect challenging the norm and identifies what is achievable through the expression of architecture and the expression of its clients desire for modernism.

This residential development presents itself boldly to the street. The main facade is a composition of white and charcoal geometrical shapes, being grounded by polished concrete blocks in a contemporary stacked formation. This facade allows for privacy and noise protection from the street.

This arrangement challenges the typical suburban response to a typical brick veneer residential development. These two pavilions, one each to the north and south of the site mirror the internal program yet provide a playful gesture of architecture externally. This residential development reconsiders the suburban status quo and pushes the boundary, literally and figuratively all within a reasonable budget.

It no doubt makes a small contribution to the cultural shift occurring within the suburb of Prospect’s architectural presence.
